AIM SCS Operator Course Overview

The AIM Security Computer System Operator Course educates the operators and security personnel on the day to day operations of the system.  

Students learn to perform their required functions including:


• Alarm Processing

• Video Management 

• Concurrence Management 

• Badge Management 

• Access Control

• Duress Conditions

• Emergency Accountability

• Security Tours

• Reports and Logs

• Troubleshooting  

The SCS Operator Course is three days of practical hands on training for operators and security personnel. The course can be taught at ARINC facilities in Pittsburgh, PA or Carrollton, TX and at customer locations with Maintenance Training System (MTS) available.Students should be familiar with Windows operating system interface.

AIM SCS Hardware Maintenance Course Overview

The AIM Security Computer System Hardware Maintenance Course will introduce the students to the operation, interfacing, and cabling between equipment, diagnostic tools, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair or trace to field-replaceable level, and expansion procedures.

Topics include:

• Alarm Stations

• System Hardware

• Maintenance Training System

• Troubleshooting 

The SCS Hardware Maintenance Course is two days of practical hands on training for hardware technicians.  The course can be taught at ARINC facilities in Pittsburgh, PA or Carrollton, TX and at customer locations with a Maintenance Training System (MTS) available. Students should have previous experience with hardware installation and maintenance. Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems is also recommended.

• Troubleshooting

The SCS System Administrator Course is four days of practical hands on training for system administrators and database administrators.  The course can be taught at ARINC facilities in Pittsburgh, PA or Carrollton, TX and at customer locations with a Maintenance Training System (MTS) available. Students should be familiar with Windows operating systems, GUI systems, and system and database administrator functions.

Integrated Enterprise Badging System Course Overview

The AIM Security Computer System Integrated Enterprise Badging Course educates the security badging personnel on the day to day operations of the badging system.

• Badge processing

• Generating reports

• Badging administration

AIM Graphics Course Overview
 

The The AIM Security Computer System Graphics Course educates system administrator personnel on maintaining the graphical images that make up the Graphical User Interface (GUI). The course will enable the Software Administrator to edit and maintain the graphic images that are used by the System.

Students learn graphical development functions including:

• Symbol Files 

• Image Editor

• Linking Displays

• Database Tables

• Logs

• Graphics Development

The SCS Graphics Course is two days of practical hands on training for system administrators responsible for the GUI.  The course can be taught at ARINC facilities in Pittsburgh, PA or Carrollton, TX, at customer locations with a Maintenance Training System (MTS) available, or ONLINE.

The AIM Security Computer System Cyber Security Course educates the system administrators, cyber security professionals, and IT personnel on the system management for cyber security.  


Students learn to manage and administer cyber security functions including:

• Host-Based Firewalls

• USB Device Control

• Backup and Recovery 

• Network Switch Lockdowns

• Intrusion Prevention Sensor (IPS) Management
